I first came across this magazine, which features Katy Perry on the front. This is definitely a pop style i would be looking for when producing my magazine. The photograph is very provocitve, im not sure if this the style of picture i would use for my magazine but the text also responds to the pictures provoctive style. The colours work well, as the models lipstick corresponds with the title of the magazine and the text is all black and and white. I like the fonts used as the title font is very different to the rest of the text on front cover but i think this work very well.
I like this front cover of BillBoard magazine as the colours work really well. The background is grey which goes well with Lady Gaga's all black clothing and the black and grey text on the page . Her hair is purple which goes well with the blue and green as it brings colours to the front cover. I think the picture is edgy and corresponds to the style of magazine well.
I like this magazine cover as it solely focuses on the model Rihanna. The colours work well as the writing is in which correspons with her pink lipstick. Her blue eyeshadow works well with the blue clothing shes wearing and the blue parrot on her shoulder. Her clothing is plain but affective, and makes her seem bold and assertive. Her head is placed behind the wiritng "NME" which shows to me that readers will still focus on the magazine not just the front cover picture. The font corresponds with the picture as I think it is bold .
This magazine cover is my favourite layout out of all the ones i have seen so far. Q have gone for a clear colour scheme of pink, yellow, black and white. The Q is in red and the text underneath is red so this does not make it look out of place. The text saying who the women on the front it "lana del rey" is a different font compared to the rest of the magazine and this draws the attention to her . The model is dressed in white so it does not contrast to any of the colours on the front page. This front cover have been thought out really well.
