Music Magazine 2nd set of front page research

After doing my first photoshoot i knew that i wanted to focus on a magazine that featured seductive or playful women on the front. So i done some research into this and found various front covers feauturing this.

This is the first magazine cover i came across that i saw as seductive. I think this is too seductive for my magazine though. I do not like the look of this magazine as i think this front cover looks quite boring with the fonts. The picture does not look like it should be on the front of a music magazine.

I prefer this type of seductive look, as all though it is not revealing the model Rihanna is still has a flirtacious look about her. I like this style of magazine as her red hair matches the title and some text on the page. The rest of the text is black and it works well on the photo. I like this type of front cover for a magazine where the text matches colours on the model. I do not like the text on the page as i think there is minimal text.

I think this magazine cover works well as there are not too many contrasting colours, just pink and white and a grey title, but the grey makes the title stand out. The colours work well as the they've matched the pink to the models lipstick I like the type of font used on this front cover and i think the text goes round the picture well although i think there may be a little too much text.

Music Magazine first draft photos

After doing some generic magazine research I decided to take my first set of photos, I did not have many focuses but i thought after doing one shoot i can gain a general idea of the type of photo and magazine look i want.

After taking these photos i decided that my model was good at reprenting a seductive type of model, and being quite fun so i could choose my focus and know how to work from this point on. After taking these photos i evaluated that i did not like what the model was wearing or her colour of lipsick so i would change this in the next photoshoot.
