Contents page prelimary drawings

I drew pictures of some generic contents style magazines and chose from them which i liked the best and then carried on to do some focused drawings.

Here are my generic ideas.

These are my first two drawing i done, out of the two i prefer the drawing on the left as it is more simple and the layout looks clearer and easier to read, however i feel it looks a little plain.

Here is my second set of drawing, out of these two i prefer the one on the right as it isnt as pushed together as the left drawing. It is clear and concise although once again i think i should add more detail.
