Specific and Detailed Contents page research

I then focused on the style of contents page i liked most, and found 3 contents pages which all featured this.

This is my favourite type of layout of all the magazines, where there is a clear rule of thirds and the text is on one side, while there is a picture on the other side. They have used headings like most contents pages and even included a seperate section for whats on the front cover. I like the pictures across the top and the page numbers in the corner of the pictures.

This is another good layout, the rule of thirds is clear and the text is kept on the left, which i prefer. There is a large picture on the right with a large number, this is used as it is probably a main feature in the magazine.

It has Three photos which breaks up the text well as their is not too much text. They have used a clear colour scheme and although they have not split the magazine into sections each feature has a heading which i like.

This is my favourite contents page of them all and it is what my contents page is based on. This contents page is really clear which a colour scheme, of black and pink. The pictures are appropriate and break up the amount of text well. We can tell that the picture and page number on the right is probably the main feature in the magazine as it is featured largely.
